Sorry I haven't posted in forever. I haven't felt like there has been much to write about since I'm not able to work out. As I assume most of you read on my Facebook, I'm not going to be able to run the half marathon because of my knee injury. SO frustrated!! But nothing I can do about it....
At this point I could try to accept the fact that I can't do the marathon and move on, but I just want to get back to running! And I even tried the eliptical and the exercise bike, and they both hurt just about as much as running did. So I basically can't do ANY cardio. Ugh! I am going to a Sport Medicine doctor tomorrow morning to find out what's wrong with my knee and how to fix it! Hopefully I will get some good news.....fingers crossed.
Anyway, one piece of good news is that I weighed myself today and I was down 2 pounds! Last week I was up 1, which I didn't get at all. Even if I'm not exercising, I shouldn't be gaining because I've managed to stick to my diet really well. So not sure what happened there. But I'm down two this week, so it's a net loss of 1. :) With no exercise, that ain't bad!
I'll let you know what the doctor says.
