Diagnosis

The doctor says he thinks I'm just having migraines. Which is much better than some of the things I imagined he might say (brain tumor being among them!) He put me on some medicine for the next three months. He said after that, they shouldn't come back. Let's cross our fingers!

I have to say, I think the diet gods MIGHT have read yesterday's post.... The medicine the doctor prescribed is the same thing that one of my friends got put on after having a migraine for a month straight. Since then she has lost quite a bit of weight, due to the fact that the medicine makes her never feel hungry. Her husband and I have often joked about how we want to steal her medicine. So when the doctor told me he thought I was just having migraines and he said he was prescribing me this medicine, I was pretty surprised! Now the medicine doesn't really MAKE you lose weight or anything, and I'd still need to choose the right foods to eat, but having less of an appetite will surely help when starting back on my diet. And obviously I still want to work out so I can get back in shape rather than just lose weight. But this definitely feels like maybe it will help me jump start.

Of course, knowing my luck, that side effect probably just won't effect me at all! Lol.

Anyway, my main focus is just that it gets rid of the headaches! I will deal with everything else once I start feeling normal again.

Hopefully my head will feel ok tomorrow. One of my best friends is having her bachelorette/bridal shower tomorrow. We are going to meet at the Peabody Hotel (one of the nicest in Little Rock) to give her the gifts and then head out on the town! Then we are all staying in the hotel that night! Should be fun as long as I feel good.
