I did well today, although it wasn't easy. It has definitely been more difficult to stick with my diet on the weekend. It makes it very obvious how much I use food for entertainment and comfort. And I kept thinking about how easy it would be to just say "to hell with it" and go buy a bunch of junk food. But I knew that wouldn't make my day any better. In fact, it would make it much worse. So I stayed strong.
I was planning to work out later in the day, but my legs are still really sore from my run outside the other night, so I decided to use this as my second skip day for the week and I'll just work out the next three days. Hopefully my legs will have had a chance to recover a bit more by tomorrow.
Breakfast: Carrot juice. Lunch: Avocado salad and a sweet potato. Dinner: Spinach salad and grilled vegetables. Snacks: Oranges, dark chocolate.
