I woke up this morning without a headache, without feeling sick, and without feeling dehydrated. Hallelujah! It was amazing! I celebrated by pushing myself a lot on my workout. I still went the 4.6 miles, but I ran both times around the track at the park without stopping to walk at all (2.6 miles total), and also ran part of the way to the park and part of the way back. So I'm guessing I ran about 3/4 of the whole distance. It just felt so nice to finally have some energy.
I did well on my diet today, too. It's easier on my days off from work because I have time to fit in more calories. Which seems like a weird thing to say, because generally on a diet you're trying to eat LESS calories. For some reason I just haven't had much of an appetite lately and so especially since I'm eating really low calorie foods for the most part, I just feel like my calories have been way too low.... I kind of go through these phases of being hungry all the time and then other times not really caring or thinking much about food. Unfortunately the former usually lasts longer. But hopefully this one will last long enough for my stomach to adjust to the smaller amount of food and get used to that. For breakfast I had cottage cheese and strawberries, lunch was some low sodium deli ham and a cup of non-fat milk, and for dinner I made my own version of cordon blue- grilled chicken, with some goat cheese, and the deli ham wrapped around it, and green beans for the side. For snacks throughout the day I had a cup of raspberries, an orange, and a peach.
Today marks my first week over with. Yay! Technically I started on Wednesday, but I kind of messed up my diet that night and didn't weigh myself till Thursday, so I'm going to consider Thursday the first day. So I'll weigh myself tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have some good results. Or at least not any bad ones. I definitely feel like I look better already - simply because I'm not eating foods that make me bloated. What a difference it makes!
Anyways, I work the lunch shift tomorrow, so I'll get up and run before that. Then I'm going to finally head over to Target to get some new weights, and then probably chill for the rest of the night.
Good night!
