Hot Day

It was another successful day. I feel like my mindset is really good this time around, and I feel like I can really do this again. At times I start to feel overwhelmed about how far I have to go, but I'm trying to keep my focus on one day at a time. Just get through each workout and each healthy food choice, and not think about the road ahead.

I went running by the river again today. I did 50 minutes of intervals and then did ab exercises. It was SO hot today. It may have been one of the hardest workouts I've ever done. I was really close to quitting several times because I was so exhausted. But I kept going and I was so glad  I did.

I kept pretty busy again today, so I didn't have a lot of time to think about snacking. And working out (especially when I first start a workout routine) always seems to decrease my appetite.

Breakfast: Carrot juice.
Lunch: Avocado Salad and a Sweet potato
Dinner: A "salad" of tomatoes and carrots, and sauteed Zucchini and Squash with Marinara Sauce

Tomorrow will be more of a challenge since I will be fitting the healthy eating and working out into my work routine. But I'm confident that I will stick with it!
