I wish I had a pause button for my life. I feel like I need to sleep for about a week straight. Or at least just have a week to do nothing at all. I feel completely drained.
I didn't work out today because I had a million errands I had to do after work and then my brother's band is playing a small show tonight, so there was no time to do it. This week was a major fail on the workout front. But considering how much I wanted to throw in the towel on the diet today, I'd say I didn't do too badly. I've just felt so discouraged about everything lately. Diet, work, relationship, life. It's not even stuff I can really explain, but I just feel down, and it all really came to a head today. It was just one of those days where junk food seemed like the only solution. But since I'm weighing myself tomorrow, I held off as best I could. I slacked a bit on dinner, but all in all, I didn't do bad. Especially considering how I was feeling.
Breakfast: Water...? I was busy at work and never got around to drinking the carrot juice. Oops.
Lunch: Avocado and tomato salad and a Sweet Potato
Dinner: Salad with Ginger Dressing and Sushi (I'm addicted, I know. I'm looking into rehab)
That's about it. I'm hoping I'll see some results on the scale tomorrow and that will re-energize and motivate me. But with how inconsistent my diet has been (at least in terms of the detox plan), I'm not sure the scale is going to be too favorable....we'll see.
LOL your lunch was like my dinner tonight! I had the same salad, and made the sweet potato/carrot soup. ;)
ReplyDeleteIf you find a good sushi rehab, let me know. haha.
Sorry you're feeling down in general...seems like a cycle, eh? Call me if you need to talk anything out.
I hope Ben's gig is fun...I am really bummed I can't be there. Let me know how it goes!
I wish I knew more how to explain it all. But I might give you a call soon. Or else we can talk on the way to Kansas City.
ReplyDeleteThe gig was good. The band was really awesome. It was a short set, but we were all very impressed! Wish you could have been there!
