My diet has been tough the last few days. I think I may be about ready to go back to low calorie. This detox diet is just so restrictive. The book allows you to add in more foods once you're not really trying to lose weight anymore, but I'm not to that point yet. And one thing I enjoy when on a diet is making foods that I'm craving, but tweaking them to be low calorie or low carb, etc. But the foods allowed on this diet are pretty limiting, so it's tough to do that. And I just tend to eat the same things most of the time, because those are the easier and cheaper options, as well as my favorite foods on the diet. I'm just ready to mix it up a little. I think I'll give it a few more weeks though....I hate to quit something that's been working.
I could have killed for some chicken pot pie tonight though. I was just really craving some comfort food. It has been a tough week.
I worked most of the day, so I used today as one of my off days for exercise.
Breakfast: Carrot juice. Lunch: Avocado salad and sweet potato. Dinner: Salad and squash "pasta." Snacks: Dark chocolate and cherry tomatoes.
