Being sick is messing with my life! Lol. Sorry for not posting last night. I was feeling quite a bit better yesterday. My temperature was back to normal, but I still felt really drained and had a horrible cold. By later in the afternoon, I was starting to feel a bit more like a human being again! My roommate had two improv shows last night, so I decided to go with my other roommates. Unfortunately, I didn't realize how late the second show was, and I didn't end up getting home until after midnight. Not bad under normal circumstances, but with still getting over being sick, I was completely exhausted and feeling really nauseous. So by the time I got home, I had zero interest in doing anything but going straight to bed.
My temperature is still down today, so I guess I'm on the road to being normal again. Still have a really bad cold though. Crossing my fingers that it won't last too long.
I felt really moody yesterday. I'm not sure if it's just the whole being sick thing, or if it's from not working out. I felt like I used to all the time where people would just get on my nerves really easily and stuff. I think running helps calm my mind a bit and makes it easier to tolerate things. I need to get back to it! I think it's still a little soon to start running again, but I think I may go walk my regular route today. Small steps.
I did eat pretty well yesterday. Breakfast: Bowl of cheerios. Lunch: Avocado salad with sweet potato. Dinner: Eggs. Snacks: Dark chocolate, a few handfuls of gummy bears, and red vines.
We ended up getting some snacks for the second improv show. I was so drained and feeling so crappy, so I gave in just so I could make it through the show! Bad, I know...but what can you do?
Today is full on detox diet. I already have everything I need, so there are no excuses! Work tonight...ugh.
