I had a very productive day yesterday, although it started out with very little motivation.
I didn't really focus on my diet, but I also didn't eat horribly. I just kind of tried to eat normally. I really need to figure out what I want to do with this.... I think I screw myself up because I try to do the detox diet exactly as lined up in the book, but it's feeling too restrictive, so I end up just cheating. I need to just allow myself to incorporate a few other choices so I don't feel so restricted, but I feel like that might make it not really work. However, it will definitely be better than completely going off it and cheating!
I did workout yesterday. I had a really good workout. Ran 30 minutes on the treadmill, did 15 minutes on the elliptical, did weights and abs. Then finished off with 10 minutes of walking on the treadmill at a really high incline. The gym was really dead, so it felt really nice to get a really good workout on a Saturday afternoon.
After the gym, I cleaned my apt, did my taxes, and painted my nails. I felt very productive! Finished the day off with a birthday party at my friends house (and too much wine!) All in all, a good day.
I feel like today will be a very good day to be lazy. haha. I don't really have anything I need to do, which is odd, because generally I save a bunch of errands/chores for Sundays. The weather is gorgeous, so it seems like a perfect day to relax with the patio door open, and possibly go out for lunch somewhere with a patio! I should go to the gym, but I'm not sure I'm going to make it.....
