It was a really long and crazy day. I worked the lunch shift. There were only two of us on, and we got SLAMMED! I don't know why they would only schedule two servers for a Saturday lunch anyway, but we were 10 times busier than I've ever seen us at lunch. It was insane! And it just kept going...felt like it was never going to end! I finally left right after 7.
Unfortunately, I screwed up....I was planning to work out this morning before work, but when my alarm went off I was still so tired. So I went back to sleep and just planned to go running after work. Unfortunately, I thought I'd be off work at like 4:30. By the time I got home and ate something (the first thing, other than vegetable juice, I'd had all day!) it was 8:30. I was exhausted, and I hate going to the park that late, because it can feel a little sketchy at times. So I didn't run. I feel guilty, but at the same time, it's the first time in 8 weeks that I've taken an extra day off exercise. AND I decided to walk to CVS and the grocery store, which is about a mile round trip. So that, on top of running around at work all day, hopefully made for a few extra calories burned.
Breakfast: Carrot and romaine juice. Lunch: Salad with sun-dried tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, and lemon juice, cabbage wraps with avocado, tomatoes, and dijon mustard, and a sweet potato. Dinner: Same salad as lunch, salmon, and baked beets. Snacks: Carrots, dark chocolate, and a much needed glass of wine!
Working at 10 tomorrow morning, and I'm not going to take the chance of missing my workout again. So that means I'm getting up bright and early! Good night!
