It's been so cold all day, and now it's freezing! It would be really nice if my apartment had heat....
It was a generally uneventful day. I worked out this morning. I was going to do a lower intensity interval run - basically jog at my normal pace (or maybe a little faster) for two minutes and then walk for two minutes, and then continue to alternate. But halfway through I realized I'd been running a lot faster than I intended to. Almost as fast as I have been on my high intensity interval workouts, and I was doing it for longer intervals. So I decided to just go ahead and do the 3.8 miles. It was cold outside and I was still sweating a lot, so I figure I did enough.
Breakfast: Oatmeal and tea. Lunch: Sweet potato and green beans. Dinner: Egg whites with mushrooms and raspberries on the side. Snacks: Carrots and guacamole, goat cheese, peanut butter, an apple, cherry tomatoes, and cashews.
I feel like I'm starting to see some more results. I felt like I looked pretty thin today. Plus, I have a pair of jeans that have always been really tight (even when I first bought them) and at times have been too tight to wear. The last couple of weeks, they've been a lot looser, but I put them on yesterday and they felt huge! Like, to the point where I may not be able to wear them anymore. Kind of a shame because I like them, but I'm ok with having to go buy a new, smaller pair! :)
Anyway, not much else going on. This next week will be a busy one. Since the holidays are starting, my work is going to get really busy and I'm working almost every day this week. So glad we're not going to be open on Thanksgiving though!
