I weighed myself this morning. I'm exactly the same as last week. I am chalking that up to the fact that it's that time of the month. I can't imagine that I'm not losing weight with what I've been eating and the exercise I've been doing, so I'm sure that's the reason. Especially since last month I had gained a pound, even though I'd done really well on everything, but then when I spent the next week eating horribly, I hadn't gained anything. I'm pretty sure I was actually 2-3 pounds lighter originally, I just weighed more due to water retention, etc. I looked it up and I read that it's common for people to gain 1-4 pounds during that time. So I didn't let it get me down or throw me off track. Hopefully that just means a really big loss next week! :)
It was a pretty good day. I ran this morning - 5 miles - and then did my weights and abs. I switched my weight routine today (I switch it at the beginning of every week) to a routine I found in a magazine for toning your legs, hips, butt, etc. It was so hard! So I definitely feel like it will work!
Breakfast: Shake and an apple. Lunch: Chicken, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, and butternut squash. Dinner: Chicken, beans, peppers, and mushrooms with mexican seasoning. Snacks: Baby carrots, peanut butter, and fruit.
I'm using tomorrow for my day off from exercise since I have the music video shoot. It's a 12 hour shoot, so I figure I'll let myself relax a bit in the morning and have plenty of time to get ready rather than having to get up early to go running beforehand. I'm going to bring some vegetables for a snack, and some cheese and cashews so I have some protein. Plus, usually craft services has vegetables and fruit, so when we stop for lunch I'll just fill up on those. I'm so excited about the shoot!! I'll give details tomorrow night! :)
I have to say, I'm pretty proud of myself for not letting the number on the scale get to me. Especially since last month when that happened I basically went on a 5 day binge! I'm feeling good!
