I'm so completely exhausted! Two days of not much sleep and being pretty much constantly on the go has taken it's toll. I worked out this morning before work. 4.6 miles of intervals, then did weights and abs.
Breakfast: Oatmeal. Lunch: Sweet potato and green beans. Dinner: Squash "pasta" with tuna, goat cheese, and peas. Snacks: Cherry tomatoes, peanut butter, an orange, and an apple.
Today marks the end of my week. That's five straight weeks of clean/non-processed eating and exercise 6 days a week. I'm pretty impressed with myself! Will weigh myself in the morning. Hopefully I lost weight this week after making all the adjustments.
I'm taking advantage of the fact that it just doesn't really feel like Thanksgiving and the fact that I'm not going home and having my traditional Thanksgiving food. So I'm not going to splurge at all tomorrow. Honestly, I just don't care that much or feel the need. I can have a healthy and yet very Thanksgiving-y meal without eating things outside of my diet. My roommate's and I are going to a friend's house that invited a bunch of people over, and some of us are going to bring food. So I'm bringing green beans, cooked carrots, sweet potatoes, and baked apples for dessert. That's all I'm going to eat, and of course, turkey! All traditional-type Thanksgiving foods, and yet, all healthy. Sounds perfect to me.
I hope everyone has a great holiday.
